Tune this hybrid set down, and you'll get the tension, feel and all important control you would get out of a lighter gauge in standard tuning. Due to D'Addario's improved special recipe, the nickelled steel is 6% more magnetic than the average nick wound set of strings. This not only improves the output but boosts the mid-range to punch it clearly through the mix.

The NYXL strings from D'Addario are produced in New York using an entirely fresh production technique that has since stretched the boundaries of the modest electric guitar string.
